Bath & Body Making
Ratio calculators for bath and body products, by weight: whipped body butter, lotion bars, sugar and salt scrubs, shower steamers and bath bombs.
Most bath and body recipes come down to one ratio by weight. Whipped body butter is 60:40 butters to oils. Lotion bars are equal parts beeswax, butter and oil. Scrubs are 2 parts sugar or salt to 1 part oil. Shower steamers are 3:1 baking soda to citric acid, and bath bombs are 2:1. The calculators below turn each ratio into weights for your batch.
Every recipe here is written by weight rather than by the cup, so a kitchen scale that reads to 1 g is the one tool they all need.
